Privacy Policy

BabDar (“BabDar”, “we”, “us”) operates babdar.com, a real-estate marketplace focused on homes for sale and rent in Morocco. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone (if provided), password or OAuth identity (e.g. Google), and profile preferences (language, currency, theme).
• Listing & inquiry data — property details you publish, tour requests, lead messages, rental applications, and saved searches.
• Usage data — pages viewed, search queries, approximate location (if you allow it), device/browser type, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve BabDar (search, messaging, listings, account features).
• Respond to inquiries, tours, and support requests.
• Detect abuse, fraud, spam, and security incidents.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
• Show relevant partner promotions (for example Walletger) where disclosed as advertising.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Agents, landlords, or sellers when you submit a lead, tour, or application.
• Service providers (hosting, auth, email, analytics) under contractual confidentiality.
• Authorities when required by applicable law or to protect users and BabDar.

4. International processing

BabDar is oriented toward Morocco but may process data on servers in other countries (including via Cloudflare and Supabase). By using BabDar you understand your information may be transferred and stored where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and operational needs. You may request deletion of your account via Contact.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. Contact privacy@babdar.com to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), httpOnly session cookies, input validation, rate limiting on public endpoints, and security response headers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.

8. Children

BabDar is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
